The Study of Active Filters (AF-01) trainer kit is designed for students and researchers to understand the design, operation, and frequency response of active filters using operational amplifiers. It focuses on practical implementation and analysis of first-order and second-order filters, using RC networks combined with op-amps for amplification and frequency selectivity.
This training system allows study of:
Low-Pass Filter (LPF)
High-Pass Filter (HPF)
Band-Pass Filter (BPF)
Band-Stop Filter (Notch Filter)
All configurations are built using IC 741 or equivalent op-amps, with adjustable frequency parameters. The kit includes:
Built-in dual power supply
Test points for waveform observation
Clearly marked circuit schematics
Provision to vary resistance and capacitance
It enables students to observe cut-off frequencies, gain-bandwidth characteristics, and understand the concept of Q-factor, roll-off rate, and filter stability. The AF-01 is ideal for use in analog electronics, signal processing, and communication labs.
