The MD‑01 is a comprehensive training system designed for the study and analysis of analog modulation and demodulation techniques, including Amplitude Modulation (AM) and Frequency Modulation (FM). Ideal for educational laboratories, this setup provides hands-on experience with both signal transmission and recovery, reinforcing theoretical concepts of analog communication.
The system comes equipped with built-in signal generators, modulator and demodulator circuits, and test points to observe and measure waveforms using a CRO. It allows students to generate modulated signals, study waveform characteristics, and perform demodulation to recover the original message signal.
This setup helps in visualizing modulation indices, carrier and sidebands, and the effects of over- and under-modulation, making it a valuable tool for understanding real-world communication systems.
